Today, 10/12/2017 I found this blog I wrote in 2015. It truly breaks my heart that we have not moved forward in equality. But that we have taken leaps and bounds backwards.
Anne Hathaway made this statement over a year ago and today it still rings true to me. “I do not consider myself just an ally to the LGBT community. I consider myself your family. And so, I am doing what we should all do with our families: I am loving you, I support you, I completely accept who you are.”
This quote rings true of who I am as an individual and a realtor. I support you, and I completely accept who you are.
To all my friends and family – hang in there and fight!

Woohoo
Hip, hip hooray for equal rights I say. For all my brothers, sisters and loved friends- let love rule
The United States Supreme Court decision on June 26, 2015, that the US Constitution grants same-sex couples the right to marry is a landmark win for marriage equality in the US that could foster change around the globe.
“The Supreme Court’s decision is a huge victory for same-sex couples in the US that will reverberate in many countries that still deny people the right to marry the person they love,” said Boris Dittrich, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) rights advocacy director at Human Rights Watch. “It will strengthen everyone’s fundamental rights to equality and non-discrimination, irrespective of sexual orientation or gender identity.”
